IV Pilgrimage - Ionian Village - Ionian Village
IV Pilgrimage
a new program of Ionian Village
Our newest program expands our summer season to offer an intimate experience of the sights, fellowship, and miracles that make Ionian Village special.
The IV Pilgrimage is an opportunity to encounter Greece and Orthodoxy through the unique lens of Ionian Village. Each 12-day trip accommodates between 10-20 participants, ages 18 and up, as well as a Parish Priest or Spiritual Leader, and is guided by one of our dedicated Staff Members. Groups can be formed from within your parish, community, or even from your extended family or friends!
As always, our travel destinations are the core of the Ionian Village program. Excursions allow participants to closely experience our Orthodox faith, Hellenic heritage, and modern Greece and include Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Kalavrita, Athens, Aegina, and others. Time at our beautiful campgrounds offers a balance of relaxation and rejuvenation while enjoying the slower pace of village life.

the curated experience
Ionian Village is situated directly on the Ionian Sea with views to the island of Zakynthos. Our location allows us access to a wealth of destinations that, when combined, provide an exceptionally well-rounded experience of Greece. With Ionian Village, in a relatively short amount of time, our participants travel to the Ancient Stadium at Olympia, see a miracle-working icon of the Panagia created by Saint Luke, visit the 1821 birthplace of Greek Independence, journey across the sea to venerate the walking saints of Zakynthos and Kefalonia, and experience authentic moments at local churches, tavernas, and kafeneia along the way.
With over 50 years of experience, deep relationships to the sites and the people that we visit, and a mission founded on an immense love of Hellenism, Ionian Village is unparalleled in its ability to provide a genuine and profound connection to both our Orthodox faith and to Greece.
