The small village of Glyfa is home to Ionian Village. With approximately 250 inhabitants, Glyfa truly embodies the essence of a quaint Greek “xorio” (village). The beautiful church in Glyfa is dedicated to Saint Marina. The locals have always given their love and prayers to both St. Marina and to the success of the Ionian Village program. The participants at Ionian Village are blessed with the opportunity to attend a service at the Church of St. Marina, venerate her relics, and learn of the brave stance St. Marina made for Christ, as well as of the many miracles which have been performed through her.
