It's essential to recognize that working as a Staff Member at Ionian Village is not a vacation. It entails a dedicated commitment, where you will be expected to work around the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, during the camp sessions. While it demands much, it is also an immensely rewarding experience.
As a staff member, Ionian Village covers your round-trip airfare between JFK and ATH at the start and end of your summer commitment. Any deviations from this itinerary must be approved in advance by the Director and are at your own expense. Additionally, your acceptance as a staff member includes all meals and accommodation while you are actively engaged during the camp sessions. However, travel to New York is at your expense, and any personal shopping during camp sessions is also your responsibility. You are accountable for your travel, lodging, and meals during the three-day break between sessions.
Applicants must be Greek Orthodox and at least 21 years old by June 17, 2023.
Staff commitment is June 17 - August 16, 2023.
