Summer Travel Camp (STC) 
June 29 – July 18, 2012
This year we will be journeying to the beautiful and historic island of Kerkyra (Corfu) for the first time to experience the amazing Venetian influence and venerate the relics of Saints Spyridon and Jason.

Byzantine Venture (BV) 
July 25 – August 13, 2012
To enhance the Byzantine flavor of this session, on our way to Athens, we will visit Ancient Mystras, spend time in the port city of Nafplion and tour the magnificent theater at Epidavros.

Ionian Village Spiritual Odyssey Pilgrimages

Ionian Village is excited to announce the expansion of its Spiritual Odyssey Program in response to the high level of participation in the Summer 2011 program. Each unique Spiritual Odyssey program is open to young adults ages 19-28.
 
Spiritual Odyssey: Cyprus and Constantinople
May 30 – June 9, 2012
Two of the Mediterranean’s best kept secrets: Cyprus, a treasure trove of historical and religious history, and Constantinople, the center of our Orthodox faith

Spiritual Odyssey: The Greek Mainland
June 10 – June 20, 2012
A journey through Greece’s diverse history: Byzantine Thessaloniki, Classical Athens, and the timeless monasteries of Meteora, plus a visit to the iconic grounds of Ionian Village

Spiritual Odyssey: The Greek Islands
July 15 – July 25, 2012
A sampling of the beauty and tranquility of the Aegean, with a taste of four unique island cultures: Crete, Santorini, Patmos, and Tinos.

About Ionian Village

Teens and young adults that participate in Ionian Village travel across Greece, venerate the relics of saints, walk in the footsteps of the Apostles, and visit significant sites of Greek history and culture. Ionian Village is a unique summer camping program located in Greece and operated by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Located in Greece, Ionian Village offers its participants a unique experience that is unavailable elsewhere. At the end of the program, staff and campers return to their homes with strengthened faith and with a greater appreciation for the Church and for Greek culture and heritage. Learn More »
